Day 1
Arrive in Ben Gurion Airport, where you will be greeted by your local guide. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 2
Begin the day’s tour at the Mount of Olives for a breathtaking view of the entire city. Walk down the traditional Palm Sunday route to the Church of Dominus Flevit, Pater Noster and the Church of All Nations to the Garden of Gethsemane. Continue to Mount Zion and visit the Room of the Last Supper and King David’s Tomb. Visit the Dormition Abbey. Enter the Old City. View the Western Wall and the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. Continue and walk Via Dolorosa way and visit the Holy Sepulcher.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3
Drive to Ein Kerem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, see the Church of the Visitation. Continue to see the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed.
Proceed to Bethlehem. Visit the Nativity Church, Shepherds’ Field Church, the Milk Grotto.
Dinner and night in the hotel.
Day 4
Driving along the Judean Valley we visit the monastery of St. Gerasimus. Continue to the Qumran caves where the ancient scrolls were discovered. Observe the monastery on Mt. Temptations, Wadi Qelt and St. George monastery.
Proceed on the Dead Sea for some fun and relaxation and opportunity to “float” in its highly concentrated waters.
Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 5
An exiting day is ahead: take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Ministry and see the ruins of an ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabga, where the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish took place and then on to the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered His “Sermon on the Mount.” Visit Church of St. Peter’s Primacy.
Then on to Cana, the site of the first miracle of Jesus. Proceed to Yardenit, the traditional baptismal site on the river Jordan.
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Cross the border with Jordan via the Allenby Bridge. Drive to Madaba, visit St. George monastery and see the unique mosaic map of Egypt, Jordan the Holy Land. Continue to Mt. Nebo from which Moses first glimpsed the Holy Land. Drive to the traditional baptismal site of Christ.
Proceed to Petra – city often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Driving via the Kings’ road we reach Petra for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7
Having had breakfast in the hotel tour Petra, city of red and pink stone. Have a walk or a horse ride along the Sik Valley. Passing through the valley is an adventure on its own – color and outline of the rocks overwhelm and strike imagination.
Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8
Visit castles in the desert: Quser-Amra is one of the most preserved monuments, included in the UNESCO World’s Heritage List. See Karak, crusaders’ castle.
Dinner and overnight in Amman.
Day 9
Cross the border with Israel via Hussein Bridge. Drive to Nazareth. Visit Mary’s Well and the Church of the Annunciation.
Proceed to the hotel for dinner and a relaxing night.
Day 10
Free day: enjoy the vast variety of services and facilities offered at the hotel.
Day 11
Day at the Dead Sea
Swim, float, have sun bath, mud bath, sulphur, enjoy the SPA.
In the evening join a farewell dinner with a belly dancer performance.
Day 12
Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure home.
