12 Days Holy Journey
Jordan, Israel and Egypt


Day 1
Arrive in Amman Airport, Jordan, where you will be greeted by our guide. Transfer to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
Drive to Madaba, visit St. George monastery, see the worlds oldest preserved mosaic map of Jerusalem and other sacred places, dating VI century. Proceed to Mt. Nebo – estimated place of Moses’ burial. See historic-religious preservation on the river Jordan, where over 2000 years ago Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. Go on to see the castles in the desert: Kerak, crusaders’ castle. Visit Um Arras, mentioned in the Old and the New Testaments; Herod’s Castle on top of Mt. Maherus.
Transfer to Petra for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
After breakfast depart to Petra, magic city of red and pink stone. Take a walk or a horse ride along the Sik Valley.
Cross the border with Israel via Allenby Bridge and head to Jericho: the most ancient inhabited city in the world.
Here Jesus cured a blind man. Jesus visited Jericho many times, when going to Jerusalem for Easter celebration. “And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, "See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.” (Matthew 20:17-19)
Observe Hisham’s palace and the preserved mosaics.
Transfer to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Drive up to the Mt. of Olives for a panoramic early morning view of the city. Visit the Chapel of Ascension, John the Baptist Chamber, St. Mary Magdalene Church, Pater Noster. Walk the Hosanna Road, stop at the Dominus Flevit church, where Jesus wept of the city. Continue to Garden of Gethsemane and Church of All Nations . View the Golden Gate. Continue to Mt. Zion to visit the church of St. Peter’s in Gallicantu, the Dormition Abbey, King David’s Tomb and the Last Supper Chamber.
Walk the Via Dolorosa and visit the Holy Sepulcher.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
Begin the day with a visit to Bethlehem. We will see the Nativity Church, Manger Square, and the Milk Grotto: the tradition has it that while Mary was nursing Jesus there, a drop of her divine milk fell to the ground, turning it white.
The remains of the day dedicated to relaxation at the Dead Sea.
Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 6
Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Tiberias. Enjoy the facilities of the thermal springs resort, mineral pools and SPA.

Day 7
Take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee from Tiberias to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Ministry, see the remains of the ancient synagogue where He preached. Continue to Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered His “Sermon on the Mount”. Proceed to Tabga, where the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish took place. Then on to the Primacy of St. Peter’s church. Continue to Mt. Tabor, where the miraculous transfiguration of Jesus took place. Drive to Yardenit, the traditional baptismal spot on the river Jordan.

Day 8
Relaxation on the Dead Sea day.

Day 9
Cross the border with Egypt via the Taba border. Drive to St. Katherine’s monastery. Visit the Burning Bush, Moses Water Well, the 2 Chapels.
Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 10
Early morning ascend Mt. Sinai, on which Moses received the Ten Commandments Scrolls. It is believed that ascending the mountain and greeting the sunset there grants absolution.
After breakfast, drive to Sharm El Sheikh.

Day 11
Tour the city of Cairo. See the Giza Pyramids, which are recognized among the largest structures ever built and are the only remaining monuments of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Visit the museum of Egypt, see the collection of Tutankhamen treasures. Visit Han El Halili, the central city market, where you will have time to observation and shopping.
At night enjoy a cruise on the River Nile with dinner and a belly dancer performance.

Day 12
Transfer to the airport and departure home.
